For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
The Only Real Peace is Found in the Prince of Peace!
The song that I used to sing "The only real peace that I have, dear Lord, is in You," really expesses my heart about Jesus. Everyone has circumstances that go up and down. Our emotions can be like being on a roller coaster, but when we turn to Jesus to get His word on the matter. He calms our very soul to be still and rest beside the quiet waters. During this season of Christmas, take some moments to draw aside and soak in His presence. Then listen as your soul becomes still to what Jesus speaks to you.
He spoke. . . In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He came. . . The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. He still speaks. . . To Jesus the mediator of a new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speak a better word than the blood of Abel. He will come again. . ."Behold, I am coming soon!. . ." He is the last Word. . . "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First, and the Last, the Beginning and the End." "This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"

Kenny's Journal: Kim and I began our fall traveling with a trip to Fort Piece, FL to minister with Jason and Kim Baumgardner. Jason and I have always had a strong Holy Spirit connection. Also ministering were Bobby Chance and Scott Hinkle. These men have powerful street ministries, Bobby in Los Angeles and from there all over the world and Scott from Arizona and Tommy Barnette's church. We had a blast! My ministry was very different from the usual with lots of prophetic worship. There was a tremendous freedom to speak into people's lives. What a joyous time! Kim and I were invited to two other churches, Destiny and Come As You Are Church (C.A.Y.A.C.). At Destiny, the Lord had me minister Jesus' joy to some wounded people. Laughter broke out as people's hearts were set free. The light of Christ was shining brightly in the lives of folks at C.A.Y.A.C. on Sunday morning. Spontaneous worship led us to the throne of the Lord. During our time in Florida, Kim and I were blessed to stay with Jason's parents. They were great hosts! We felt so loved and welcomed! And we certainly enjoyed a side trip to our Florida kids and grandkids! My next ministry trip was to Durham, NC. At Leesville Road Baptist Church, I joined Lovem Ministies for a Prayer Rally. Larry Jordan preached a strong message on overcoming feelings to be led by and living in Holy Spirit power. Al Nucciaone, pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church, shared about his mission work in Israel. Next, I traveled to California to speak at the Healing CFO in Encino. When I arrived, I was hit with a fever and allergies. The Council Ring took me to a Health Clinic for some meds and sent me to bed to rest. The other speaker, Doug Bolin, told me he would take the first part of the week and when I was feeling better I could then finish it out. That's what we did. Doug shared a powerful testimony of his victory over alcohol and how the Lord brought joy into his life. I did get to feeling better and shared from my heart the story of my walk with Jesus. Healing CFO, you say? Yes--I guess I was the example of Jesus' healing hand! Thank you, campers, for your prayers! After meeting Al Nucciarone in Durham, we invited him to come share with us at Burning Heart Fellowship. He brought his wife, Billie, with him. They shared great testimonies of their work in Israel, of members of the Mafia being saved, of Muslims being ministered to, and the Jewish people touched through their sports program. What an outreach! Pray for them. To bring you up to date on what's happening here at Yeshua's Vineyard, our new sign by the highway has drawn the attention of the local fire department and county officials and our new road has brought them right up to our door. We've been required to hire an engineer to "bring us up to code." The engineer is working on construction plans for us to strengthen the existing cabin and add on additional facilities. The 1st Phase will include bathrooms and classrooms. The 2nd Phase will include a much larger meeting room and kitchen. We have had to revise our previous plans but now believe we have a much more workable solution. It's time to begin! Thank you so much for all of you who have been giving to KDM and this vision. We pray for God's provision for every step of this journey. And we pray even more that He will fill the house with His presence and those seeking Him as it is built. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Join me in January at the Nerd's Retreat, Alexandria, VA at the home of Nancy & Chuck Cook (12-14); Mid-Winter CFO Retreat, Hemet, CA (20-21); Earl Tyson Retreat, Williamsburg, VA (27-29); and East Stone Gap, UMC, East Stone Gap, VA (29-Feb. 2).
