Raging turbulent waters are rolling on the sea. A bright shining light rolls across the waters and they are stilled. An ulcerated stomach churns and groans. The light penetrates it as well, and there is healing. This is the vision Kenny Davis saw as God called him into a new venture, Kenny Davis Ministries, in 1982. Since that time, we have shone the light of Christ into troubled lives and bodies and seen them healed. People have come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, experienced His baptism in His Spirit, and found His wisdom and direction for their lives. Kenny has traveled all over the world shining that light, to youth and adults, in song and in word. Kenny continues to shine that light as God opens doors.

The journey continues--
As I write this, it seems in our ministry that the butterfly has come forth from the chrysalis (cocoon). In these days it seems that everywhere we turn we are running into folks from the time of our beginnings of KDM back in 1982. Even back beyond that, going back to my own beginnings of singing gospel music with my family, I've just heard stories of my grandparents playing the banjo and guitar and singing. What a heritage! My family is going back to one of the communities in which we lived to sing once again. And out of the cocoon of those early days and earlier ancestors is coming a time of new beginnings for us. We are sensing a new day. Everywhere we turn there is a flow in what the Lord is saying and confirming. And we are sharing this release from the cocoon with Kim's new book, Cocoon, A Journey of Transformation everywhere we go. We're also sharing our music CDs and Healing scriptures on CD. Our ministry center, Yeshua's Vineyard, is poised and ready for growth and expansion. We had shared previously that before we could build buildings, we had to build a road (approximately $15,000). We have since learned that we can add on to our dining room prior to the road being built, which would provide us with a larger meeting and dining area. Windows, doors, lumber, logs, and sinks have been donated toward these projects. Volunteers are needed to dig the footing, lay the foundation, and build the addition. Other items are needed, as well, to get the job done. We are looking to the Lord to supply all that is needed as we give of ourselves fully to be and do all that He has called us to and created us for. I did a great deal of traveling over the summer, but that has slowed considerably. A new wineskin is being formed, out of which our new wings are getting powered up to fly. We are excited about the days ahead!
