Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. The Psalms give testimony of God as Creator. And as such, He is worthy of all praise. All things find their source ultimately in Him. He is above all, preeminent. Psalm 90:1, 2 Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Psalm 93:2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. Psalm 96:5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. He is the One with the real power. Why is it we try to set up other things as gods, giving them more worship in our lives? Romans 1:20, 21 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light (Genesis 1:2, 3). Got chaos in your life of any kind? The Spirit of God is hovering. Let there be light! He is still Creator. Come under the sound of His voice, the watchfulness of His eye, the light of His presence, the love of His heart.
