A Word for today: Scripture Reading: John 1:19-34, NASB
John was doing the task he was given by God to do--preaching repentance and offering baptism to all who would turn to God. This put him in the path where Jesus would come. And when Jesus came, he was ready and responded to Him. And he depended on the confirmation of the Spirit, the witness of the Spirit.Seeking Jesus or direction from Him? Do what He's given you to do and watch for Him and the witness of His Spirit.And this is the witness of John. . . "And I have seen and borne witness that this is the Son of God."
